The paring knife is very small about 2" in length. The boning knife is a kind of knife that is specifically used to curve around bone when cutting meat. It's usually 4-5" long.

Bread knives are usually serrated, to improve slice efficiency and not smash the bread during the cut. For the best cut, experts recommend the use of a knife that have pointed serrated ends, this feature increases the knife life and gives the user better control.
